Hello 2023-24 Pre-Calc students! This year, you will be able to earn college credit while also earning high school credit when taking Pre-Calc! We'll talk more about that in the first two weeks. We will use this blog during our entire course as it includes important resources - the pacing guide, video tutorials, keys to assignments, info about earning college credit, and communication from me through the posts.

I look forward to meeting all of you!

Ch 3 Test Scores

I'll be entering the Ch 3 Test scores when we get back from break. The test will count for 100 points for those who did well, and only 50 points for those who didn't. There will be four columns in IC, with a student's score showing up in two of them (one for each part of the test).

Retakes can be taken at anytime before the final, but students can only earn up to an 80% on their retake. Feel free to just retake either the "No Calc" or the "Calc" part of the test, depending on how you scored.

And remember, EVERYTHING for our 2021 Pre-Calc course can be found by clicking

Independent Unit (UMSL Required)

The complete unit is below.  Start with watching the first video. On a blank sheet of paper label "Rev #1 Video Notes" at the top and write your notes from the video. Draw a line under your notes and label the next part "Work from Delta Math UMSL Req #1", showing your work under that. Continue that process until you have reached the end of the Rev #6 video. Then do the Paper Quad assignment, then the practice test Paper Part, then follow that with showing your work as you do the Delta Math practice test. Finally, complete the Delta Math test and show your work on paper. Everything needs to be clearly labeled and legible. All Delta Math assignments (including Test) are due by 8:00 am Oct 5th. Your stapled pages of notes and work need to be turned in by  10/5 for 3rd blk and 10/6 for 2nd and 6th blks.
